I'm a single mom of the best kid on the planet. We've had a rough few years, but as long as we have each other, we have everything.

Being able to walk alongside my kid while she experiences and explores the world, seeing her grow and navigate life with curiousity, openness and joy helps remind me to do the same. Knowing I'm helping guide the future of the world by showing her compassion, love and resilience. We've also needed the support of our community a LOT these last few years, and building that community is a lesson I want her to carry into adulthood.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?There's so many but honestly what's burned in my mind is meeting her for the first time. She has an incredible birth mother and I met my daughter just a few hours after she arrived in this world, and laying my eyes on her perfect little face for the first time is a memory I will never forget. I literally stared at her the entire first night, just in complete wonderment that she existed.
What would you do with $20,000?It's been a hard few years after leaving an unhealthy marriage, having some major medical hurdles and losing my dad, and honestly $20,000 would help us stabalize our housing and catch up on some debt. I'd like to build up some savings for my daughter's future too.
