Receive Text UpdatesSeeing the beauty of life and reliving so many joyful things we forget about as an adult through a child eyes is so rewarding. Watching your child make friends try new things and never give up on themselves is a reward and a reminder.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?Outside of birth itself. Seeing my daughter and her big smile after waking up from my first cancer surgery, knowing that I was still gonna be here to enjoy every day with her as she grows up. That smile made everything worth fighting for. Also, the time I surprised her to see her favorite soccer player play soccer. The joy on her face was worth everything.
What would you do with $20,000?After getting out of some debt, I would use some of the money to do a small investment for my daughter and I. Then, the remainder I would give to the nonprofit that I am on the board for to help women battling cancer in our area and help fill the gap for them.
