The hugs, the laughs, the willingness to sit, chat, and share with me the good, bad and ugly - because they know we all need help sometimes..especially MOM! And when I need that “extra” love, they quietly notice and outwardly give the support. It’s chaotic, brutal at times learning from each other (all neuro-divergent kiddos), but in the end there’s love and it fills my heart cup at the end of everyday.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?Times when I’m sick or recovering from a seizure (nocturnal) and they cover me up with a blanket, ask me if I need anything (if I’m awake) and give me a kiss on the forehead (my favorite kisses!). :-)
What would you do with $20,000?Take each kiddo out for a special solo date or mini trip doing something they love/dreamed of doing. Split the rest among the 5 and apply towards college or their special needs services that are extra out of pocket.
