We would like to thank you for supporting Tilda Agyekum in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Being able to look at my two wonderful kids and count my blessings is the most rewarding part. It’s amazing how far we have come. It’s not easy, but I still look at my 6 year old and 8-month old in disbelief that I’m their mom and they’re mine. Very blessed to be part of their journey in life and to be their guide, friend, and protector. It’s such a great responsibility to care for another being, but seeing them grow, glow, and maneuver in their little world makes all the difference, I reflect.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One memory of my kids I would never forget is the first moment you lock eyes with them when they are born. For me, this was days after with my 6-year old girl. For my 8-month old baby boy, this was weeks after, as he was in the NICU. I have such appreciation for this moment. As your kid finally open their eyes and see you and recognize your voice. The best feeling ever, to a life-long journey of bonding.

What would you do with $20,000?

I have a small decorating business (team of one with the help of friends). Have had the pleasure to decorate for my own wedding, my kids birthdays, and of course client’s baby showers, engagements, etc. I love helping people celebrate their events. I would use this money to increase my inventory, so I can continue to offer a wide variety of designs at an affordable rate for people in my community. I want to offer the best price for an upscale decor without my clients breaking the bank.
