Knowing that my son feels comfortable being himself around me and others is the most rewarding. He’s currently 12 and seeing his growth in personality and becoming his own person is my favorite part. I love when we work on building his confidence and when he is proud of himself. That’s when I can truly see the fruits of my labor.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?My favorite memory of my son is when he was 5 and we went to the laundromat together with his dad. My son, Jacob, took my phone and made a video about him running around the laundromat being chased by his dad and laughing so loud. Watching it in real time was so much fun and I loved seeing him so happy and now we get to relive it every time we watch that video. It was the perfect family time.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000 I would take my family (son and husband) on a nice vacation and pay for groceries for a year. Taking one major bill off the table would help alleviate some financial pressure on my husband and make me feel great as well.
