The most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing my son mature into a young man with his own ideas and dreams. Watching him grow from a tiny toddler team leader to #2 on his high school track team—without formal training—fills me with pride. Despite our differences at times, I know that the sacrifices I made as a single mom have taught him that while life isn’t always easy, success is attainable with hard work and determination.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?I will never forget how he would look for me during his games. Didn’t matter if it was county organized or school teams, he always knew I would be there. Seeing him looking for me in the crowd at each game is something I will never forget.
What would you do with $20,000?Omg. I would first start a scholarship in honor of my brother. He wanted to be an architect so badly and died at 51y/o. The rest- pay off bills, vacation, and save a little up. Life is short. Let’s give and live!
