Being able to see the world through my daughter's eyes. She is nonverbal and it can be challenging however I get to witness first hand the wonder in her, the strength in her, the resilience, and so much more. The most rewarding thing on this planet is being that little girl's mom.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? My nonverbal daughter saying mommy for the first time. She is nonverbal but has made strides over the past few years and recently has been able to mimic certain words and phrases, not many but she is getting there and I am so proud of her! When she said mommy for the first time I absolutely melted and will never forget it. I didn't know if I would ever hear her call me mommy, but I did!
What would you do with $20,000?Honestly, I would put it in a trust for my daughter's future. I'm not sure what the future holds and if she will be independent, or need special housing after we are gone, or go to college, get married or anything but at least we can put some money aside for her future no matter what it holds.
