I don’t know I would say I am a super mom, I work at Dollar General as an assistant manager, and I provide for my family.
We would like to thank you for supporting Theresa Padilla in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part is seeing your grown children and what they have accomplished thus far the mistakes that they’ve learned and overcome, they know that I’m always there for them and I will never judge them. It’s knowing that I did the best that I could with what I had. It’s knowing that my kids are grateful for whatever it is that they get it’s knowing that they see their mom working every day and that they appreciate me. It’s a simple. I love you, mom and thank you. That goes a long ways.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? It was one Christmas when we didn’t have much under the tree and everything came from like the dollar store, but in their eyes, they were so tickled and so excited to go underneath the Christmas tree and just to see all the presents and they were so grateful and thankful for what they got. The look on their face was priceless to see thirty toys underneath the Christmas tree, but didn’t realize that each of them was a dollar they couldn’t care less. As they grew up, they know a value of a dollar
What would you do with $20,000?I would love to take a family trip. I would love to take my grown kids and my grandchildren to Disneyland and spend a couple of nights to go out to eat to buy us whatever we would like and to make a beautiful memory as we all get older also I would love to donate to vanishing white matter disease because my granddaughter at the age of 4 passed away from this disease. With any money left, I would love to buy me a little used car.
