The most rewarding part is probably stepping back and observing how the kids interact with others. And realizing that your hard work has paid off this far.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?When my daughter was 4, she was misbehaving and I grounded her and put her in a corner. As I was walking away, she ran after me crying, grabbed my legs and said “mommy, I was just grounded!” Uhmm… I know! I grounded her! But the fact that she ran to me for safety or comfort, melted my heart. Now at almost 15, she still runs to me with all her problems.
What would you do with $20,000?Donate 10% for an orphanage we actively support. Put some away for a “rainy day.” And take a small family trip - just kids and I. Create more magical memories.
