Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is getting to learn my daughters in real time. Over these three years I've learned how to get smiles and chuckles, likes and dislikes, interests and more. I've learned cues for when they're anxious or upset. I'm seeing them fall in love with new experiences daily. I see more of who God is molding them into everyday. I'm not learning by what I'm being told. I'm living it.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

My first baby was in love with her sister from the day I had her. She helped us name the baby. She told all of the nurses that she was the big sister and tried to hold and love on her sister as soon as she met her. When we let her hug her sister, it was almost like she just nuzzled up to someone she knew before being brought earth side.

What would you do with $20,000?

I'd like to put a little money toward my tuition to offset my next semester. I'd also like to start an account for my daughters to help fund things like daycare and extracurriculars. Right now, My family members help me with care taking by watching them when I go to class. I don't get much alone time. With any leftover money, I'd like to put a down payment on a car big enough to move my girls around.
