Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Well there are a few things. I’d say one is knowing every time my daughter has a booboo she asks me to kiss it better & immediately it soothes her -that’s such a great feeling. Knowing I’m the one she cries for & misses the most is one of the best feelings. Seeing her eager to learn as she’s learning is so fulfilling too especially when she sees my expression of wow & joy. Watching her heart condition & how sweet she is interacting with younger kids or babies makes me so proud.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One that was terrifying was January of 2020 my daughter caught covid. She was only one year & one month old. She struggled breathing every night. It was the unknown that kept me worrying. Every night I had to steam the bathroom to open her airways. I had my sister there trying to help me. She wouldn’t take her medicine & at that age you literally have to hold them down if all else fails. It was traumatic to say the least, I blamed myself, i felt helpless.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would put a big chunk in my daughter’s whole life policy. I would take her to Disney land for her 6th birthday and I would help my aunt with her teeth. I would invest in my marketing business to help better my chances to succeed.
