We would like to thank you for supporting Tasha Gardner in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is the smiles that you get from your children or the appreciation when you have done all you can to make things happen in spite of life’s trials and tribulations. Often times our kids don’t know what all we went thru to be able to put food on the table or shoes on their feet. We often go without to ensure they have it all. Moms are doctors, nurses, judges, teachers, preachers and bankers for our children.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

A memory of my kids that I will never forget is all of them graduation high school and my daughter giving birth to my first grandchild and my oldest son being shot in the head his senior year of high school by an unknown assailant while leaving the movies after a basketball game win celebration. My son life changed forever and he still suffers from PTSD but God didn’t allow that to hinder him in anyway and next month he will be a first generation college graduate.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I was to win the 20,000 I would help each of my kids in the way that they need or see fit. Set aside funds for my grandchild’s future and help my disabled parents with some debt relief. I would donate a portion to women’s infants and children program that helped me keep my kids with nutritional meals when they were growing up and also donate to my own neighborhood park, that was a place that fed us during the summer and allowed us to have a safe place to play and grow and go on field trips.
