Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

No matter what I do or go through my child loves me and she shows it. When I'm feeling low, stuck, unwanted, overwhelmed, like I'm failing, or like I'm not enough; with one hug from her she makes all of that disappear. Looking at my daughter reminds me to keeping going everyday because I want to show what a strong women looks like and I want her to be proud to call me her mom.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I'll never forget the first time she smiled at me. When my daughter was born for some reason she did not smile or laugh for that matter. You could try to tickle her, play peek-a-boo, or crack a joke and she wouldn't even smirk. But I didn't give up because I was determined to make my little girl not only smile but laugh out loud with pure joy. I began to wonder of maybe her funny was broken, but finally after a few weeks of all my tricks she finally gave me the biggest smile that warmed my heart

What would you do with $20,000?

I would put the money towards getting me and my daughter our own place. Currently we share a bed room at my parent's house and I would love to be able to move out and give her own room to play and grow.
