As a serial entrepreneur, social worker and mom I am nurturing, caring, business minded and assertive in all aspects of my life.
You decide who will appear in Woman's World magazine, enjoy a weekend getaway in Napa, and take home $20,000
The most rewarding part of being a mom is teaching my child life skills and ambition that I seldomly had as a child. I enjoy watching my daughter grow and seek me for acknowledgement while still remaining confident and full of life. I enjoy hearing my daughter articulate her wants and needs as she expresses herself in ways that I never imagined at five years old. I am rewarded as a mom everyday by having my daughter as a boost of motivation to accomplish my goals to financial freedom.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? The one memory of my daughter that I will never forget is teaching her at just one year old how to spell her name through song. I remember coming up with a catchy melody in my head as I sung "Zhavia...Z. H. A. V. I. A." to her repeatedly. She shortly after began to pick up on the rhythm, as we are a musical and dancing family, she enjoyed singing along with me until it became a breeze. I was so fascinated that it took he only about 2 weeks to spell her name in that method, independently.
What would you do with $20,000?If I were granted the opportunity to receive $20,000 I would further invest in my retail candle and fragrance business by implementing more candle making workshop events in my community, collaborate with like-minded entrepreneurs to expand their businesses, as well as buying inventory for my brick-and-mortar location to keep the shelves fully stocked. I would also create a long-lasting sustainable business for my daughter to enjoy alongside myself, as she seeks to be a mini entrepreneur herself.
