I have flaws and at times failed in my mom role but I don’t give up. My strength comes from my love for my 3 sons, to do my best everyday.
We would like to thank you for supporting Sylvia Suarez in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
I often say that the current stage my 3 sons are in is my favorite. Each stage has brought a different type of joy. Sometimes it’s sentimental because I miss the infant, toddler, child & tween they were. At this moment, as they are navigating young adulthood, having conversations or just sitting on the couch together is the best part of my day and late nights. I’ll miss this stage one day. But knowing each night ends with “love you momma” is the most rewarding part of of being a mom.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?A summer afternoon in 2012. The boys loved playing in the backyard, running thru the sprinklers, spraying each other with water guns and climbing the inflatable waterslide. We were filling water balloons when my oldest son picked up the water hose and started spaying everyone. The twins ran around the grass trying to dodge the spray. The belly laughters and tiny screams of excitement that afternoon makes me smile each time I think about it.
What would you do with $20,000?I would love to plan a family vacation to Europe. We’ve been talking about it for a few years. Exploring, relaxing, catching some soccer games, eating and making more memories together sounds perfect. Any left over money would go towards a laundry remodel to include a half bathroom. This will greatly help with the morning routine and spare this mom some grief. It’s the little things. Thank you for your consideration!
