Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Being able to see and witness the love and light that my daughter brings to myself and the world. Seeing that although I didn’t come from it my daughter is proof of love and change hope and faith. That good is in this world. Witnessing a little person grow into a beautiful child and a God willing a beautiful adult. Just being blessed that god allowed me to experience such a great gift.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Recently we went to kemah a water park in Galveston, This was my daughter first time on a roller coaster. She was sooo scared but I convinced her. We got up there she wanted to turn around and I was okay with that before we turned around I told her if she was sure? I told her to trust me she would love it. She did. She put her trust in me and we rode that roller coaster from 12-8 pm till we were sick it was the best day especially since it was a spontaneous day just woke up and decided to ride.

What would you do with $20,000?

I’m a single mom, and have been since I was 19 now 28. I would say it is endless possibilities but to be very honest I have always been a mom that is always worried about our future. I would use the money to pay off my rent and put a down payment on a home for us I was a kid who moved every two year my greatest desire in life is love and stability and just being able to offer that to my child is more than I could ask for my eyes can’t see beyond that.
