Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

There's too many reasons to name but the short answer to that is the results of all those hard long days. The smiles and the laughs. Building the memories. Knowing that even when nobody else showed up your kids really valued you being there and made the most of that moment with you. To see them show random acts of kindness & express gratitude. The long tight hugs or the brief moments when they show vulnerability and you see the growth. I'm just grateful to be present and active in their lives.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One memory I'll never forget is my son asking me if we could buy his friend some shoes because he noticed his toes were exposed. Or that one time my daughter and I went to the beach in the middle of the night alone because she was feeling stressed out & anxious. The waves, laughter,& the company were the best medicine we could've asked for. My all time favorite is when they sit down and enjoy a homemade cooked meal. That satisfies my soul to the core.

What would you do with $20,000?

I want a mommy make over. I don't mean surgery or splurging on designer brands. I just mean taking care of myself for a change. Everything I earn I invest it in my children. That's how it should be. I know myself. With the money I'd buy myself something outside of the same 3 tees I have & 2 pairs of sneakers & really invest in myself. Look the part to this very rewarding role I have in my kids life. Truth be told whats left I'm investing in family time and the family business.
