Been through years of constant hospitalizations yet every time I was out my daughters motivated me to push foward. I fight for them
We would like to thank you for supporting Sully Gonzalez in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Watching them smile and laugh while we are together even the smallest things are appreciated and although they deserve more they reassure me that I’m doing my best and that’s enough for them to be happy and tell their friends that their mom is their best friend. Life’s hard but they can heal all my wounds in such a way that I feel beyond blessed.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?I couldn’t afford to take them anywhere since I was in and out of hospitals and still on SSI which isn’t enough for a trip to Disney or anything that kids love to go to . I arranged us to get a ride to watch the movie “the good dinosaur “ and we dressed alike, and when we got to the theater bought color blue roses because blue is a color symbolizing calmness which is what we needed after so much violence at home and me being sick I learned in college that it was the color that symbolizes peace.
What would you do with $20,000?My 18 year old daughter takes the bus to college and to work she stresses about time and wakes up 5 am just to rush out , if we got that money it would help get her a reliable used car. And for Skai my 13 year old a iPad for school . We would figure it out but I am currently unemployed on SSI it would help keep our head above water.
