I was put on bed rest at 28 weeks and lost over 30lbs between then and 36 weeks when my baby was born. I had a PICC line with TPN feeding.
We would like to thank you for supporting Storm McCrory in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The unconditional love is hands down the most rewarding part of this journey. I never thought it would be possible to love another human like I love my daughter. I look at her and forget everything that has ever gone wrong in my life because she is everything that is right. Her smile makes every hard moment more than worth it.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? The first time she smiled at me. She was seven weeks old, and we were getting ready to start our day. As I was changing her outfit she had her eyes locked on me. I giggled back and asked “what’s momma’s silly girl looking at?” And, on her face, grew the biggest most beautiful smile I have ever seen.
What would you do with $20,000?Truthfully, my pregnancy was hard. I accumulated more medical debt from hospitalizations, emergency procedures, home health care , etc. it was more than I could have prepared for and debt I will have a for a long time coming. So, $20,000 would take a large burden off my shoulders and allow me to start saving for my baby’s future.
