The most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing the fruit of my sacrifice. In the beginning, I was full of despair, feeling isolated, but God was intentional—He set me apart to focus on my daughters. For 10 years, I invested in them, setting aside dating to build, grow, and nurture. Now, I see the reward: they are loving, well-rounded, and pursuing their God-given paths. Watching them flourish, love God, and thrive is the greatest joy of my life.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One memory I’ll never forget is the day I bought my first car after my divorce—a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe. It was my first big accomplishment after feeling so broken. I surprised my girls at school, and their excitement was like they were going to Disney World! Their joy reminded me that survival after divorce and abuse is possible. Seeing them celebrate with me pushed me to keep achieving. We’ve shared so many victories since, and their gratitude makes giving to them even more special.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, I’d bring dreams to life. I’d invest in my daughter’s first-ever Gen Z Revive youth conference, uniting and inspiring teens across the U.S. I’d also support my church’s youth programs, fueling the next generation. After going to school by faith, I carry student loan debt, so I’d use half to start paying it down. This isn’t just about my family—it’s about proving that rebuilding is possible and empowering others to chase their dreams.
