What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part is when my son gets excited to see me when I pick him up from school and he says “mama!” And how happy he is in general.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

There are too many memories to just pick one. But my favorite one is when my son before he left one day said, “Bye, Bye Mama, I love you,” without being prompted. My son was recently diagnosed with autism and he is still working on his words. So this moment was so huge for me and made me cry with so much joy.

What would you do with $20,000?

Half of the money I put into a savings account for my son. I know that he may have challenges as he gets older and I want him to be able to take advantage of any help he may need. The other half I would take my son and I on vacation to visit the different national forest each year. My son loves nature and I think he would enjoy that. And a trip to Atlanta to visit their aquarium.
