It took 11 years, 10 surgeries, and 3 miscarriages for me to be a mom, and I love and support countless women going through the same.
We would like to thank you for supporting Stacy Roberts in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
I once read that we're raising our kids to be ok when we're not here anymore. Initially , I thought this was very sad, but then my view changed. I believe the most rewarding part of being a mom is raising my son to thrive and walk in his God-given purpose for years to come. When I see him learning, laughing, loving, and developing into this amazing person, it makes my heart smile. It also means so much more when doctors told me I'd never carry a child. But here he is and what a gift we have.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? My son is funny and bold. I remember us taking communion at church and the following Tuesday, my son announced to his swim class that he drank blood at church. I was mortified but could not stop laughing. I had to explain to parents that he was talking about communion, and that we weren't in some type of cult. Another memory is once I wasn't feeling 100% and Jaxon literally touched my head and prayed for me. "Jesus, heal my mom." The fact that my son knew to talk to Jesus did my heart good.
What would you do with $20,000?I love working with families who have experienced child loss and infertility. After waiting 11 years, 10 surgeries, and 3 miscarriages, I truly understand that journey. I would love to host an event to pour into women going through what I went through. I would also like to finish my book, "I Still Believe God", as a resource to support them during their journeys. Finally, I would do something for my mom because she is my personal Supermom. I am who I am as a mom because of her.
