Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The greatest reward of being a mom is seeing my daughters rise stronger, wiser, and kinder than I am. Also knowing I helped guide them there. I’ve poured unconditional love into every moment, taught them to stand tall, be strong and do for themselves, but reminded them I’ll always be here if they stumble. As a strong, independent single mom, I’ve worked tirelessly to raise two beautiful souls who now shine brightly in their own lives. The humans they have become, that is my proudest legacy.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

We’ve had so many good times and laughs, my girls are the silliest and funniest together, it’s hard to pick just one. But every night without fail, we’d sing our full bedtime setlist. London Bridge, Twinkle Twinkle, Do-Re-Mi, and Frère Jacques. Then we’d talk about the “good monsters” under the bed, Pinky, Bluey, and I think an orange one, if I remember correctly, they kept the bad ones away. It was our sweet, silly tradition, full of love and imagination.

What would you do with $20,000?

What would I do with $20K? Honestly, I’m not sure. I already have everything that truly matters, my kids, family, and friends. As I get older, I’ve learned that things are just things, you can’t take them with you, and they don’t compare to the love in my life. Maybe I’d take my family on an adventure, help pay off my daughter’s car, or buy something fun we can all enjoy together. Whatever it is, it would be shared with the people I love most.
