I'm a mom of two, one autistic and one medically compromised. My husband works shifts, so it's mostly me caring for them and advocating.
We would like to thank you for supporting Stacie McLeroy in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is at night, when both of my children cuddle with me and each other. They give each other and myself a lot of kisses before laying down for bed. In this moment it is like my worries have all washed away.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? My favorite memory was coming home with my daughter and my son who is autistic and doesn’t usually display affection would sit next to the bassinet and watch his sister, and kiss the mesh trying to kiss her. Their bond started from the beginning.
What would you do with $20,000?If I had $20,000, I would pay off debt, create an autism sensory room for my son, and take a weekend trip with my husband for the first time in 3.5 years.
