What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Spending time with my children, hearing the laughs, the smiles, the love, watching them grow and learn, teaching life skills, the different personalities (lol) & being apart of every milestone. My mom passed at a young age, so it’s a blessing to be apart of their lives every day. The experiences & I learn from all my children daily.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

My daughter, that has autism, was afraid to get in the pool, so her big brother, who’s 8, kept trying with her from lightly wetting her with the water, to helping her ease her feet in the pool so she’d become more familiar with the feeling day by day. Next fews day she took off her shirt, no swimsuit, called Sharif for help, jumped in & they played till they were raisins in the water! She was so excited, and so was he & said to me, “momma, Mia trust me as her big brother, I like that.”

What would you do with $20,000?

I would immediately thank & praise God for the blessing, thank my voters, lineup a babysitter for a weekend, finally book me a much needed trip to a peaceful serene resort in California or Arizona, and sip champagne in peace! Upon my return, I’ll let the kids ball out at the toy store, get mom some new wheels, buy robucks for Sharif lol, & save some money for another mommy vacation and a rainy day.
