The most rewarding part about being a mom is the unconditional love. No matter how I’m feeling being around my daughter completely uplifts my spirit. A bad day goes away when I’m around her. Seeing her smile when I first walk through the door makes me smile even harder. She is the best parts of me, she is goofy, she is smart, she is blunt, she is independent. She is everything I’ve ever wanted to be.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

A memory I will never forget is when I was graduating college, I was in my first semester of college when I had my daughter and I busted my tail to make sure I finished to provide a better life for her. While we were doing the ceremony I looked over and seen her running down the aisle towards me, I picked her up, she sat in my lap the entire time as I graduated. She was the first person to see me graduate. She was 2 years old. I went home and cried all night because I was so happy.

What would you do with $20,000?

With 20,000 I would improve our living situation, I would help find us a forever home to share the rest of our memories in. All I’ve ever wanted to do was provide stability and a place we could always call home. A safe place.
