We would like to thank you for supporting Sierra Allen in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my child develop. Also, the struggle of ensuring childcare, a quality education, and healthy meals are rewarding. Being able to see my struggles flourish into success is worth every ounce of sweat, tears, and pain!

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

There are so many! The one that sticks out at the moment would be anytime he achieves a new goal! The look in his eyes is worth any pain that I’ve ever been through. Him accomplishing good grades, learning how to finally tie his shoe, taking those first steps, or even learning how to say his full name!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would pay down some of my debt of course, start his school fund, and help continue to develop my passion project. I had a NFP that I had to give up once I moved to Chicago. I am a survivor of domestic violence and I turned my pain into a passion project by helping local women and children who experienced domestic violence by giving them free emergency kits. The kits included clothes, snacks, and visa gifts cards to pay for a night at a hotel. I would love to continue that work in Chicago!
