Balancing work, community care, sports runs, and auntie duties for all (kin or not). I lead with love, strength, and service. Supermom!
We would like to thank you for supporting Sherica Jones-Lewis in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom, and community auntie, is the unconditional love I give and receive. Whether it’s late-night talks, rides to practice, showing up at school, or holding space for someone else’s child, each moment shapes a future. The little things; smiles, hugs, shared meals, matter most. Being a steady source of love, guidance, and support in my family and my community is the heart of who I am. It’s how I help build stronger, brighter futures.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One moment I’ll never forget is holding my son after a hard day, his head on my chest, and whispering, “God made you. You are good. You are loved.” I’ve repeated those words through growing pains, disappointments, and victories. It’s more than comfort, it’s a promise. A truth I want stitched into their spirit forever, so no matter where life takes them, they’ll always carry the reminder that their worth is divine and their presence in this world is powerful, needed, and loved.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, I’d invest in healing retreats for community leaders, youth enrichment, mutual aid, and storytelling rooted in love. I’d build a digital archive to preserve community wisdom and start saving for a small plot of land for my sons and me, a place to rest, grow, and build legacy. This is about more than money; it’s about planting seeds of hope, honoring our stories, and creating a future rooted in faith, love, and collective power.
