Receive Text UpdatesThe most rewarding part of being a mom is when I’m able to see the fruit of what I’ve sown into my kids. I sometimes laugh that I’ve been entrusted with three kids to keep alive (I still feel like a kid myself most days 😂). When I see them loving others well, and when I watch them fail gracefully and try again, I am encouraged that they’re gonna be pretty amazing adults one day! They teach me so much! They cause me to slow down and be present - and the reward is in the reciprocity!!!
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?I remember when one of my kids really struggled to make friends in a dance class she started taking. She left class crying quite a few weeks in a row, and I felt torn, because I know she loves dancing. I encouraged her to keep going and not quit and to try to find one friend she could connect with. Well, after several weeks of tough emotions, she kept pushing through and wound up finding a great friend! She now LOVES her dancing school and wants to join the competition team! I’m so proud of her!
What would you do with $20,000?I would make a musical album. I’m an independent artist and I’ve dreamt of recording a whole album, but I can’t afford it right now. The money would mean a lot to me for the purpose of reaching that goal. The money would also help me pay for my kids’ private school tuition. I would use the rest of it to donate towards a few charities that mean a lot to me and some mission organizations that we feel passionate about as a family! Thank you so much for voting for me! I am honored :-).
