What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

My most rewarding part about being a mom is knowing that the sacrifice is worth it when I see their smile or happiness. I literally sacrifice my freedom to make sure both my son and my daughter has the best I can possibly give them. Hearing my kids say thank you MOM just melts my heart. Makes every bit worth it. And I’d do it a million times over!

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

When I first joined the military I had to give my kids to family so that I could go through boot camp. During the Christmas holiday I was allowed to visit, and of course I chose to spend the time with my kids. Well Christmas morning. I surprised them and popped up as “Santa’s BIG GIFT”. The expressions on their faces, they froze with excitement and ran towards me and screamed “Mommy” and gave me the biggest tightest hugs. Their eyes were filled with tears. It was something I’ll never forget!

What would you do with $20,000?

20,000… I’d pay off debt. Honestly being a single mom I put my kids well being first and part of that was being their only option meaning I couldn’t depend on others if we didn’t or couldn’t have. I had to make a way. And in today’s society at times it meant acquiring debt. I remodeled my home and I had to take a loan out for that. I would love to be able to pay it down and or pay off my Credit Card that I acquired. And that’s the honest truth. Eliminating debt would help me and my kids a lot.
