I am a single mom of 2, working on my masters in nursing, while also working full time, & keeping my kids engaged in sports and activities!

The genuine unconditional love we get to experience and give. It’s insane how a simple smile or “I love you” from my kids instantly makes me forget all my problems/stress and fills me with joy and gratitude. A love a mother has for her children is truly a gift and superpower. My love for them is what pushes me forward and the love from them is what makes it worth it.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?One of my daughter is when she caught a “pop up” at her 8u all-star softball game, which she ended up winning MVP for! I’m in no way athletic so to see her not only play sports but to be good at them is such a blessing. I just love how that moment absolutely boosted her confidence. And for my son, he was diagnosed with speech/developmental delay so to finally hear him say “I love you” at age 3 & a half made me ugly cry lol.
What would you do with $20,000?I would buy a home. Right now we rent a 2br townhouse. The rent is outrageous and it would actually be more expensive to move (considering first and last months rent plus a security deposit etc). I would love to get us into a 3br house so my daughter and son can have their own rooms. They also beg for pets which we can’t have while renting. So we would love to become homeowners!
