I started a new job as the Executive Director of a non-profit homeless coalition in fall 2023 while also being mom to a toddler and stepson.

The most rewarding part of being a mom is witnessing so many firsts- first time walking, first time eating solids, first time learning something new, seeing the growth in vocabulary and social interactions with others. I'm so amazed at my daughter's progression in such a short period of time and feel excited and blessed to be a part of her life.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?Giving birth to my little girl, Roze, who is now 3. It was a moment I'll never forget. Those 9 months I carried her were excruciating on my body (gestational diabetes, high blood pressure, so much heartburn and pain, constantly). After she was placed in my arms for the first time ever, all of that was worth it.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use the $20,000 to pay off my credit card debts and start a nest egg of savings for both kids, so they don't have to struggle and live paycheck to paycheck like I always have. I want them to have a sustainable future.
