Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Watching the fruits of my labor grow into who they wish to become.All while being themselves and respectful human beings .Each child is different and I sew into and encourage them to be who they wish to be.Not who I want them to be. As a child I didn’t have the liberty to do so. I always tell them I can’t save you from mistakes ,but what I can do is support and encourage you along the way.They simply have to LEARN!I appreciate their individuality and being free willed advocates for themselves.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I will never forget all of our first time on the plane was together for Christmas 2021. I didn’t have that luxury growing up or as an adult that had 4 children by the time I was 26. I was busy grinding (in school and working ) all of my 20s to afford a lifestyle for them where struggling wasn’t the narrative. The first flight we all experienced the same emotions (excited yet nervous and fearful).

What would you do with $20,000?

I have four kids . I would put $5,000 a piece into a CD to acquire interest for their futures. This will be a great jump start for college or trades once they graduate high school. I’m thinking scholarships,but also reliable transportation to commute back and forth to campus,trade school , or work.
