We would like to thank you for supporting Shavonn Daley in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is being my children’s safe space—a constant source of support and comfort. There’s nothing sweeter than hearing them introduce me as ‘Mom.’ I love witnessing the lessons I teach come to life in their everyday actions, and it fills me with pride to see each child express their unique individuality. Finding new ways to nurture their strengths and watching them grow into their own people is truly fulfilling.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One memory with my kids I’ll never forget is our first camping trip at Lake Compounce last year. It was far from perfect—heavy rain soaked our tents, I slept without bedding and shivered through the night, and I couldn’t even get a fire started—but we were completely device‑free and embraced the chaos. We laughed , sang silly songs, and raced around puddles. Despite everything, my kids said it was the best time they’d ever had. Sometimes the best memories come from the most chaotic moments.

What would you do with $20,000?

$20,000 would open up a world of possibilities for my family. I want to show my kids as much of the world as I can so they learn to dream beyond their surroundings. I hope to give them access to experiences—travel, sports, art, and activities—that we currently can’t afford. My goal is to inspire them to dream big, explore their passions, and one day make an even greater impact on the world than I ever could.
