Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing my children flourish into the people they were created to be. Every step they take toward expressing the fullness of themself into this world is the best part. Seeing them be an athlete in one moment, an artist in the next- the endless possibilities and surprises they exude bring me the most joy. Seeing them be kind, giving, thoughtful people while forever curious and learning new things-they become a constant reminder to me to stay curious too!

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I will never forget their first time meeting their baby sister. I have 5 sons and we just had our first daughter last year. Seeing their reaction to having a sister was huge! The oldest shed a tear when he held her, the youngest couldn’t stop smiling and they all showered her with love. Seeing how gentle and kind they were just reminded me of how amazing these young men we are raising are. I am so happy to know how loved our daughter is.

What would you do with $20,000?

20,000 dollars would be life changing to our family. It would be invested into us buying our first home. With six children, we have outgrown our current place and are looking forward to giving them more space.
