Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part about being a mom is seeing my son happy, laughing, smiling and learning. Receiving hugs, “I love yous”, special notes and positive affirmations are the very best from my little one. Seeing my son grow to have empathy for others has been truly humbling as a mom. There’s never a day that doesn’t go by where he doesn’t call me his superhero! 🦸🏽‍♀️ That keeps me motivated to do so much more for my son.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

There was a day where I was having a very tough day. He heard me in my room, expressing myself and my feelings (crying). He walked into my room, walked towards me and without hesitation gave me the biggest hug and kiss and said “mommy everything will be ok, you will be ok”. This moment and moments similar I treasure and hold close to my heart and will always hold close to my heart. There’s something special about receiving encouragement from a child. He is truly best friend, my pride and joy.

What would you do with $20,000?

What would I do with $20,000, I would invest in my son and his future. Currently I have him in acting school and martial arts and activities and clubs that make him smile and give him confidence. I would take a vacation and be able to show my son the world even if it’s just for a little while. I would continue to make our happy home HAPPY. As a mom who does it all with one income, $20,000 would truly help our lives in ways I can only pray for and will continue to pray for.
