Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Seeing my children become their own person. Hearing their own individual thoughts, feelings, and ideas come to life. Keeping them safe and making sure they know how loved they are so they can grow unrestrained in a healthy environment into the people they are meant to be. Their happiness and health is my greatest reward.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

There are so many! Most powerful is my son beating all the odds. He was born with half a heart, and he had to undergo many operations and surgeries. Just when we thought we had made it to a breaking point he went into heart failure and had to wait for a new heart. Despite so many struggles and hard ships, so many ups and downs, our son finally got a new heart after almost a year of waiting and now he is a whole new kid with so much life waiting for him. I will never forget any of that.

What would you do with $20,000?

Honestly? Live life with less stress! Pay off our debts, save some, take our children on a vacation maybe! Our son wants to be an engineer and someday go to space which would cost some college money so save some for his schooling and dreams! Our daughter says she wants to be an artist, or a doctor, or a singer. Frankly she changes her mind a lot but save some for her so she can do whatever she strives for! Just use it for our family
