The best part of being a mom is watching my children grow and thrive in their unique ways. Two of my kids are successful Army adults, also attending college and are determined and focused on their dreams. My 11-year-old IT genius amazes me with her brilliance, and my fourth child, once nonverbal, is now an independent, vibrant individual. Their strength and resilience fill me with pride and joy, reminding me every day that being a mom is a privilege and a never-ending source of love.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? The most memorable moments with my children are unforgettable: Ti'Kaylah, my oldest, joined the Army to follow in my footsteps, and now we serve together as a mother-daughter duo. Brianna, my second oldest, scored four back-to-back goals to win her team’s championship despite no prior soccer experience. Ameria amazed us with her self-taught research skills, especially in coding. Aujri, our little firecracker on the autism spectrum, went from nonverbal to fluently saying, "I love you, mommy."
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000 I will take my husband, and three of our children to visit my oldest daughter Ti'Kaylah who lives in South Korea on orders with the Army, we can't afford to visit right now due to the cost of air fare for a family of 5.
