We would like to thank you for supporting Shakeena Neal in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is that my son is happy. I enjoy taking him to events that surround his character interests. I love bringing home little gifts that with character themes he loves such as baby shark and dinosaurs. My son is really smart and talks really well and that's rewarding to me because I know me reading to him and spending quality time with him helped with that. He is very popular at his daycare and I love to hear how he puts a smile on their face.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?I will never forget when I took him to Jurassic Quest he was very happy. He looked around and said "wow dinosaurs everywhere!" He has went back there recently and had another good time. This time he brought home a dinosaur action figure and an egg he has to wait to hatch in water. He brought the mother Dino to her egg when he noticed it hatched. It was an interesting moment to see how he values family and references having both mother and father when he sees a pair of 3.
What would you do with $20,000?I would open up a bank account for my son, one he cannot touch until he is 18 so that he could use the money for college or a business he decides he is interested in persuing. I would also pay my rent up for the year so that I could focus more on getting my Masters Degree in social work. I have been inquiring about investing and I would invest in some IRAs. I am also interested in starting a business of my own!
