Shaelyn Hake

I’m a chronically ill and disabled stay at home mom. Every day I do the best I can and hope that it is enough.

We would like to thank you for supporting Shaelyn Hake in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part would be watching my baby grow and become his own person. I love seeing him explore the world and learn new things.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I will never forget the moment I got to hold my beautiful baby for the first time. He didn’t cry, he just looked at me with his beautiful eyes and his tiny hand held my finger tight.

What would you do with $20,000?

$20,000 would absolutely change my life. I would either use the money for a down payment on a house or I would put it in a high yield savings account for my son. Or I’d finally get a carpet shampooer lol.
