I’m a super mom because I show up with grace through grief, love through loss, and strength through every storm— I'm her safe place.
We would like to thank you for supporting Severina Hernandez in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part is watching my daughter discover the world, knowing I’m the one guiding her through it. Her smiles, her little sounds, her quiet cuddles—all remind me that I’m her home, her comfort, her beginning. Just talking to her, hearing her thoughts, and seeing her personality bloom fills me with a joy I can’t put into words. She’s taught me strength, softness, and a love deeper than I ever imagined.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?I’ll never forget the first sound my daughter made as she came into the world—it was raw, beautiful, and life-changing. The moment they placed her on my chest, time stopped. I had never felt anything like it. I knew instantly I loved her unconditionally, and that I would do anything to protect her. In that moment, I became hers completely—and she became my everything.
What would you do with $20,000?My mother just passed, so I’d honor her by creating a future for Harlow—building a fund to support her dreams, whatever they may be. I’d also start a business to help moms reconnect with their creativity, heal, and rediscover themselves. It would be my way of giving back, creating light from grief, and helping others feel seen, inspired, and whole again.
