Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is witnessing my kids’ emotional, mental, and physical growth. I love being by their side as they progress in sports, in their compassion, kindness, and sense of humor, and as they build friendships. I feel incredibly blessed every time I see my sweet kiddos achieve something new and love being able to be right there by their side to celebrate their wins, big or small.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I will never forget the sight of my kids running across the airport to come hug me after I'd been gone in Arizona for two weeks while I tried to make progress with the handling of my mother's estate. The way that they all dogpiled me with hugs and we all started crying was the most loving and wonderful moment that I've ever had. We even had people around us tearing up too.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use the $20,000 to help my family move into a home. We've lived in an apartment for my kids' entire lives, and I dream of giving them the kind of fun and freedom I had growing up on farmland. There’s something truly special about open spaces—places where they can learn, explore, and just be kids. I would do anything to give them that experience.
