Young mom saga: foster care, graduated college, & became a prison wife/"single" mom.
We would like to thank you for supporting Sariah in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Seeing them grow...which is also the hardest. Everyday you question whether or not what you're doing is enough or right...and sometimes you question having kids in the first place, but then you see them talking a little friend through their fear or holding the door open for the elderly or hearing them say, "thank you". That's when you know you've won at life.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? He was exploring outside while I was cleaning with all the windows and door open. I walked to the doorway to check on him and I heard the softest song. I realized he was singing to himself quietly and I looked over at him and just watched as he looked up at the sky with a stick in one hand and a water gun in the other, singing "You Are My Sunshine".
What would you do with $20,000?It sounds cliche but take him to Disneyland. We're the family that lives paycheck to paycheck and every time he sees a commercial on TV, he always asks to go. Also, pay off my car and put the rest in savings for a house.
