I am my kids' biggest cheerleader, their unwavering supporter, and their fiercest advocate. Their success is also mine!
We would like to thank you for supporting Sarah McCowan in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Every chapter is unique, filled with new experiences and excitement. Though each stage comes with its own challenges, I wouldn’t change a thing. It’s amazing to watch my children overcome obstacles—whether it's riding a bike, learning to read, or navigating friendships. Motherhood has also humbled me in so many ways. I have had to reflect on who I want to be vs. who they need me to be at any given moment. Being part of their journey is nothing short of beautiful & rewarding.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?I am not someone to ask for help, let alone take the help. Last year, while helping to host a women’s Christmas market, I came home feeling stressed and uncertain about what to do next. I was venting to my husband when my kids, who are 9 and 10, stepped in and said, "Hold on, Mom. Let’s sit down and make a plan." They then helped me organize the decorations, gather supplies, and create a timeline. Their willingness to step up and assist, despite their young age, was powerful!
What would you do with $20,000?Put it towards college for the kids! College is so expensive these days, I need every penny I can get. However, I would be lying If I said I wouldn’t use a little bit to take them on a vacation, my kids love to go on vacation! My youngest’s favorite part of the trip is an airport, haha!
