What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my kids grow into their own identities and beliefs, shaping who they are and will become. I love having my children as my best friends and learning from the endless lessons they teach me. The purpose and endless drive that were also born in me when I became a mom is the greatest gift! My kids keep me so motivated to make the world better. And me.. better.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One of the funniest moments was when my kids were all chasing each other around the house, and my youngest, Conan—who takes safety very seriously—saw Riley get up to run. In total 4-year-old panic, he yelled, ‘Not with your socks on!!’ like it was a life-or-death situation. We all lost it, laughing so hard we were in tears. Kid takes hardwood floor safety very seriously.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would either use it as a down payment to purchase the home I’ve been living in as a renter, as the opportunity from my landlord recently presented itself. If that doesn’t pan out, I’d like to start 529 savings plans for my kids and invest the remainder into a retirement fund for me to continue supporting my family long into the future.
