Sara Clayton

I have been raising my daughter without her father for the last 5 years. It is hard but so rewarding!

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is when I get to witness my daughter put lessons, morals, and values that I have worked hard to teach her into action without her knowing I am watching. It shows me that I have raised an amazing little girl and makes me so excited to see the lives she will touch in her life.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

When my daughter was 6, we passed a for sale sign in a front yard. I told her, one day you will see Mommy's name on those signs! And her response was "Mom, if you want to be selling houses, you should go sell houses..." I have been in real estate since then and through hearing her say that, she taught me to teach her to chase her dreams no matter what.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I had $20,000 the first thing I would do it tithe the first 10% to my church. The rest of the money would go into a savings account for my daughter. That way when she grows up, whether she decides to go to college, start a business, technical school etc. I would have a good starting place to help her chase her dreams just like she helped me chase mine when she was 6!
