The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching a little person grow, learn, and love. Every day, I see my son discover the world around him, and it’s the most incredible feeling. His sweet smile and tiny face make my heart fuller than I ever imagined. Even in the hard moments, knowing that I am his comfort and safe place is the greatest gift. Being his mom is the most beautiful and fulfilling experience, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

One memory I’ll never forget is hearing my son’s first cry after my C-section. After several miscarriages, that moment was overwhelming—knowing he was okay and finally seeing his beautiful face. My heart exploded with love, and I couldn’t stop crying and smiling at the same time. He was more perfect than I ever dreamed.

My partner currently supports us while I stay home, and while being a stay-at-home mom is so important, I sometimes wish I could contribute financially for our son. I would set aside some money for his future so I know I’ve left something for him, pay down my car loan, and get new baby clothes and learning toys for his birthday and our new house.
