The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my son grow into exactly who God made him to be—kind, curious, and full of life. It’s in the little moments: bedtime talks, surprise hugs, or hearing “I love you” out of the blue. Knowing that every sacrifice, every hard day, and every leap of faith is shaping a safe, loving world for him makes it all worth it. There’s nothing greater than being his safe place and biggest cheerleader.

I’ll never forget our first apartment after my divorce during the pandemic. It was just one bedroom, but it was filled with joy and peace. I taught from home and homeschooled him before kindergarten—we made learning fun with bike rides, library trips, and collecting snails. It was our sweetest season of growth, love, and healing.
