Among all the wrestling, learning and loving, the most rewarding part of being a mom for me is watching my boys grow into amazing little humans. Watching them navigate life in such a scary world while learning and figuring out how their emotions work has been so beautiful to witness and be apart of. Watching them learn and seeing that light bulb come on, nothing is more rewarding than that.

A memory I'll never forget is a recent one. We took our kiddos for a mid winter break to a water park a few weekends ago. My oldest son, a very sweet, sure of himself, timid boy, faced his fear of "big water slides" and fell in love with them! Watching him fall in love with something he was once terrified of made my heart grow in size. I'll never forget the laughing smile on his face when he emerged from the bottom of that slide all by himself.

As a doula and placenta specialist I would like to use this money to expand my small business to reach more super moms and give them all the chance to encapsulate. I want to make a difference in the birth community, helping more mamas achieve the best birth and postpartum journey possible!
