What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

When you hear them laugh and play like that genuine real laugh where you know they are just so happy. I also love watching them eat, filling up their bellies knowing they aren’t hungry is such a good feeling. Playing with them, loving them things I couldn’t do with Delilah.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

The memories I have of the 5 of us together, we are only 4 now. Forever missing a huge piece of our family. There’s this one time we were camping, Delilah wasn’t feeling to good. But she wanted to be outside with everyone. We were happy time stood still in that moment as I watched Delilah and her siblings just explore the outdoors. Memories I’ll cherish forever.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would put a down payment on a home for us. We just recently moved out of the home we rented for 6 years. The home Delilah fought cancer in and the last home she lived in with us. It was sad, we had to move into our RV. Things are tight since cancer and we realized we’d never be able to save while paying rent. So I’d try to buy us a home.
